Congressman Morgan McGarvey Visits Wesley House

LOUISVILLE, Ky. —Congressman Morgan McGarvey visited Wesley House, a longstanding community center in Louisville, on Monday. Established in 1903, Wesley House has been dedicated to supporting individuals and families through various programs, including child care and family resources.
McGarvey saw the diverse range of services offered at Wesley House, which caters to everyone from infants to adults starting families. The facility’s commitment to community support was evident to him.

“They’ve been a part of our community for over 100 years, but to see the programs they’re doing now, what they’re doing for all kids, you know, starting from our youngest kids before they’re ready for kindergarten to kids once they’re in school to also what they’re doing to help adults,” McGarvey said.

Mendell Grinter, president and CEO of Wesley House, emphasized the organization’s approach to community care.

“We believe in supporting the whole community, from cradle through her career,” Grinter said.
