It’s Louisville’s favorite question: Where’d you go to high school?

This is one that seems to come up no matter where you go — parties, networking events and so on. And with education being an ever-present conversation in both business and politics, we thought we’d wind down the year with a feature on where local executives and business owners got their high school education.

“My favorite memory was participating in the Redhawk Marching Band. Every summer and fall, we traveled across the state to compete in marching band competitions. I made lifelong friends and went on to attend the University of Kentucky and join their marching band because of this experience. Our band directors, Mrs. Sarah Hawkins-Smith, Raymond Green and Kevin Osborne, were some of the best educators I encountered at JCPS (Jefferson County Public Schools).
