How We Enrich Our Community Through Our Programs

At Wesley House Community Services, we offer a range of programs that empower families and individuals along the Preston corridor. Our programs are designed to provide quality education, enrichment, and empowerment opportunities for children, youth, and adults. Our programs are also aligned with our vision to be the leading family services community center and to advocate for equity for Black, Indigenous and People of Color (BIPOC).

WesKids Child Development Center

A holistic early care and education program for children from six weeks to five years old. WesKids is a proud partner of the Greater Louisville Head Start Initiative, which provides children with quality education and care that prepares them for kindergarten. WesKids also embraces the parent as the first teacher and encourages self-directed learning through the Reggio Emilia approach.

Young Brilliant Achievers

An out-of-school-time enrichment program that supports students with the greatest need. Young Brilliant Achievers provides homework assistance, tutoring, STEM, sports, music, art, and more to students in grades K-12. Young Brilliant Achievers also collaborates with various partners to offer scholarships, mentors, and opportunities for students to excel academically and personally.

Workforce Development

A program that supports adults to access self-sustaining career pathways. Workforce Development offers services and resources that remove barriers, enhance skills, and advance personal and professional development. Workforce Development also includes the WesTech Training Center, which equips adult learners with certificate and certification coursework and professional development training in information technology.
