Patricia Williams, SHRM-SCP
As we embark on a new chapter in our organization's history, I am filled with gratitude and excitement to share with you the remarkable milestone we have achieved. This year, we proudly celebrate 120 years of serving families and communities, and I am honored to lead our organization as we mark this momentous occasion.
Since our humble beginnings, our mission has remained steadfast: To help people help themselves.

Since our humble beginnings, our mission has remained steadfast: To help people help themselves.

Throughout these 120 years, we have strived to empower individuals and families to overcome challenges and build brighter futures. We believe in the inherent resilience and potential within every person, and it is our privilege to provide the support, resources, and opportunities needed for them to thrive.

Our organization’s legacy is woven into the fabric of countless lives. Over the years, we have witnessed incredible stories of transformation, where individuals have embraced their strengths, conquered adversity, and created positive change for themselves and their communities. These stories fuel our determination to continue our mission and inspire us to reach even greater heights in the years to come.

None of our accomplishments would have been possible without the unwavering support of our stakeholders. Your belief in our vision, dedication, and commitment to our cause have played a pivotal role in shaping our success. Whether you have contributed your time, financial resources, expertise, or have simply shared our story with others, each action has made a profound impact on the lives of those we serve.

As we commemorate 120 years, we take this opportunity to reflect on our achievements, but we also look ahead with a renewed sense of purpose. The challenges facing our society today are ever-evolving, and we recognize the need for innovation and adaptability. We remain committed to being at the forefront of change, ensuring that our programs and services meet the evolving needs of the communities we serve.

In the coming years, we will focus on expanding our outreach efforts, forging new partnerships, and leveraging emerging technologies to enhance the effectiveness of our programs. We will continue to foster a culture of collaboration, learning, and inclusivity within our organization, allowing us to stay agile and responsive to the changing landscape of social issues.

I am thrilled to announce that we will be embarking on a significant expansion project to build WesGym, a state-of-the-art facility that will serve as a beacon of empowerment and growth for individuals and families in our community.

WesGym will be an essential addition to our existing campus, designed to offer a wide range of comprehensive services and resources. It will provide a dedicated space for physical fitness, wellness programs, educational workshops, vocational training, and community events—all aimed at empowering individuals to reach their full potential and build sustainable futures.

As stakeholders, your continued support is crucial to our success. I invite you to join us in celebrating this significant milestone and reaffirming our commitment to helping people help themselves by making a contribution to our capital campaign. Together, we can make an even greater impact and create a brighter future for generations to come.
