The Mission Ambassador Awards and Update event celebrates the organization’s 120 years of impact, achievements from the past year, and places a spotlight on members of the community engaged in meaningful work. Several mission ambassadors will be recognized with an award for their remarkable contributions to “helping people help themselves.” This year’s awardees are: Cori Gadansky, Executive Director, Community Coordinated Child Care (Advancing Equity Award), Robert Earl Gunn, Jr. Chief Equity and Impact Officer, Metro United Way (Game Changer Award), Nick Spalding, Engineer, LG&E KU(Servant Leadership Award), Ray Fore (Lifetime Achievement Award) and Anthem Medicaid (Impact Partner Award). The event will be emceed by Krystal Goodner-Spratt, and feature keynote speaker, George Wilson, Jr., a former NFL player. Event tickets are $120 each and can be purchased on the Wesley House website.
